About me

I'm LS6, a music producer and videographer who can break and rap. I love creating art through different sources and I'm interested in all kinds of music.

I grew up in a community with a passion for music, both listening to and creating. People describe my sound as old school with influences of drum n bass, break beats, raps and RnB. My environment and my community all influence my sound. Hanging out with people I love and respect. Growing up around reggae and sound systems have all played a part in shaping my taste.

Since the nineties I've worked with lots of music venues & promotion management teams and been lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with legendary Drum and Bass club nights in Leeds. In the early days when Think Tank was called Cafe Mex and drum and bass was called Jungle, I found a place and with like-minded people with the same vibes.

We hosted a night called D.O.P.E which stood for Department of Progressive energy. D.O.PE had so many legendary Djs come through, the likes of which included; Brian Gee, Suv, Roni Size, Krust & Die, Andy C, EdRush & Optical, Chemistry & Storm, Nicky Black Market, Jonny L, Adam F the list goes on.
